I just did a "What's In My Bag?" post a few weeks ago but since then I've changed purses and added a lot of (unnecessary) weight to my new old bag from Target circa September 2013. So don't worry, this will be different ;)
Before dumping out the contents, this little one was rubbing all over it. Cuteness in action:
And here's the big purse dump, in all its glory!
Let's take a look at the first section, shall we?
Trash. WHY. Yuck, looking at this picture grosses me out. The only semi-okay thing is the cute Kleenex packaging. Old gum wrappers (pre detox) and tissues. Needless to say, I threw this pile out.
Next section: health and beauty. The only thing out of this pile that I use on a daily basis is the lip balm. I only actually need a Band-Aid when I'm not carrying them around, I forget I even own blotting tissue (trying to use it up from our wedding day), it's getting warmer so no need for the hand creme, I never sporadically decide to change my hairstyle while out and about so why do I have bobby pins?, and I haven't eaten out in a while due to this detox so no need to floss on the go. Oh and because I'm scared of being exposed to some superbug, I only use Purell when soap and water isn't an option (is that good logic? who knows). Then we have...
Pens! 3 different kinds. Pretty sure I stick a new one in my purse each week before I go grocery shopping and just never take them out.
Last section: the random pile. Unaccounted for DSW member card, a ticket stub from Monuments Men (I definitely added this one to the trash pile; the movie was SO BAD -- I wanted to like it but it was just painful to sit through), wallet, card pouch, rosary, sunglass case w/ sunglasses, keys.
That's all folks! Since these photos were taken earlier today, I've added a half eaten bag of banola that I brought to RCIA tonight.
Aaand since it took me all day to figure out why Blogger wouldn't let me upload these photos (I hate when restarting my computer is all it takes...and it takes me an hour to finally do that), I'll be peeking into everyone else's purses tomorrow ;)
I've seen a few like-minded comments on the hand sanitizer! (I'm in the same camp…it may not be good logic, but it sure is prevalent!)
ReplyDeleteYes, it helps! Always good to have on hand even if it gets used infrequently...you never know what you'll run into!
DeleteYour cat and your tissue package are both super pretty. Seriously.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up!
Haha, thank you! Would you believe my husband found her out on the street? How could anyone abandon a cat like her!
DeleteThank you for doing the link-up! How fun :)
Awww man! I loved Monuments Men! Art Nerd here, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I am too! I guess I just didn't care for the style of the movie itself. Loved the story and the cinematography, though. Have you read the book?
DeleteWow, you're organized!
ReplyDeleteThat is the illusion of this post! Haha, that is rarely the case ;)
